Description

You will join MongoDB's newly created Forward Deployed Engineering team to explore Generative AI technologies and accelerate customer application modernization. Working alongside project teams, you will evaluate, build, and apply tools in modernization projects, contribute to tooling prototypes, and help shape the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 4+ years as a field engineer, professional services consultant, or full stack developer working with enterprise clients
• Proficiency in Java or C# and familiarity with common database access patterns and frameworks
• Strong knowledge of enterprise-scale software architectures and development methodologies
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and stored procedures (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase, PostgreSQL)
• Experience using and developing with MongoDB and JSON document models is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Contribute to customer application modernization initiatives across all phases of the application lifecycle
• Test drive MongoDB migration products and deliver feedback to the development organization
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to influence the MongoDB product roadmap
• Execute POCs including developing tools for customer success with an eye toward reusability
• Maintain broad technical understanding of the product line and underlying technologies
