Description

You will develop integrated and highly scalable laser solutions for silicon photonics AI communications and computation, working with cross-disciplinary teams to navigate design trade-offs and deliver high-volume laser products.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or similar with 3+ years post-degree experience
• 8+ years experience in photonic devices, photonic integrated circuits, and semiconductor physics
• Strong understanding of silicon photonics
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams
• Strong problem-solving skills for unclear problems

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-volume laser products with cross-functional team
• Collaborate with product and architecture teams to drive new laser concepts
• Translate high-level laser module requirements into detailed engineering execution plan
• Resolve design and manufacturing challenges for high-performance laser solutions
• Collaborate with electronics, photonics, mechanical, thermal, and package-design teams
