Description

You will train and mentor students in aircraft maintenance, helping them become skilled and employable technicians. You'll transition from an aircraft maintenance expert to an educator with support from a new teacher training program.

Requirements

• Strong background in aircraft maintenance
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred
• Experience mentoring or training others
• Ability to obtain instructor certification
• Willingness to complete new teacher training program

Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft maintenance theory and hands-on skills
• Mentor and train students to become certified technicians
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
• Maintain classroom and lab safety standards
