💼 About This Role

You'll design and operate scalable Python backends for a cloud platform powering industrial CT scanning. You'll own architecture for complex data workflows and mentor engineering peers. This role offers the chance to build at the intersection of computer vision, ML, and cloud infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own backend architecture for cloud software (services, APIs, persistence, workflows).
• Design, build, and operate scalable Python backends with Django, Celery, and REST APIs.
• Lead complex data-heavy workflows including uploads, lifecycle management, and ML integration.
• Architect AWS usage for backends: S3, RDS, IAM, networking, and SageMaker ML jobs.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years developing software, mostly backend.
• Expert Python with 5+ years shipping production backends (Django/DRF).
• Deep PostgreSQL and AWS data/storage (S3, RDS/Aurora) with IAM and VPC-aware patterns.
• 5+ years production AWS with practical SageMaker experience.

• Extensive experience with high-traffic, data-intensive web applications.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes and AWS architecture, security, and optimization.
• Experience in regulated or export-controlled environments.
