💼 About This Role

You'll own the success of RF mechanical structures and mechanisms for the largest, most powerful satellites ever built. In your first year, you'll validate designs through prototype iterations and qualify flight hardware. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute your vision for the highest capability satellite RF mechanical systems in the industry.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Take RF mechanical hardware from concept through qualification to on-orbit operations
  • Lead design reviews from kickoff through qualification
  • Drive hands-on development testing, analysis correlation, and hardware iterations
  • Perform hardware trades to steer RF mechanical sub-system and top-level direction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish product requirements and best practices

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or other relevant engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of experience with mechanical and/or electromechanical design and analysis
  • Experience with CAD or FEA software packages
  • Experience with practical application of GD&T

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience designing, building, and testing RF systems for aerospace applications
  • Experience with NASA-STD-5017, SMC-S-016, and GSFC-STD-7000
  • Active Top Secret or Secret clearance with SAP eligibility
