Description

Join Agility Robotics to design the next generation of the Digit humanoid robot for commercial scale. You will own mechanical and electro-mechanical parts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver robust designs for demanding environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience designing and building mechanisms and assemblies, preferably in robotics.
• Experience in mechanical analysis including FEA, tolerance stacks, static and dynamic analysis.
• Knowledge of motors, encoders, sensors, power transmission, drive-train components.

Responsibilities

• Own 3D and 2D design of electromechanical components and subassemblies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements and develop design concepts.
• Perform engineering analyses including structural and thermal analysis.
• Support root cause investigations and implement improvements for robot robustness.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
