Description

You will design, plan, and implement outside plant (OSP) projects for copper and fiber networks, including engineering drawings, permitting, and construction coordination. Your work ensures network infrastructure is built on time, within budget, and compliant with standards.

Requirements

• Strong background in engineering, permitting, and construction coordination
• Experience with OSP copper and fiber networks
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure compliance
• Field coordination with municipal and government officials
• Proficiency with CAD, Varasset, SiteTracker (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design and plan OSP facilities for copper and fiber (aerial, buried, conduit)
• Prepare engineering drawings, loop loss calculations, and switch serving area designs
• Conduct field measurements for poles, conduits, and buried facilities
• Develop project budgets and monitor costs
• Prepare and submit permit packages to relevant agencies
