💼 About This Role

You'll lead end-of-line testing and commissioning of an autonomous surface vessel, ensuring safe navigation and efficient operations. You'll collaborate with onshore teams to refine autonomous systems and achieve mission objectives.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Ensure safe navigation and operation of the vessel, including autonomous control.
  • Supervise onboard crew and manage vessel performance during tests.
  • Collaborate with shoreside teams to execute commissioning plans.
  • Maintain operational logs and ensure USCG compliance.

📋 Requirements

  • Valid USCG 500/1600T Master License on Oceans.
  • STCW Basic Training, GMDSS Operator, and OICNW.
  • Proven experience in a senior officer role on crewed vessels.
  • Strong knowledge of navigation, safety, and USCG regulations.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with jet-drive propelled vessels.
  • Experience with autonomous or unmanned systems.
  • Prior work with DoD or government agencies.
