Description

In this role, you will take full ownership of hardware for Starlink's Gateway TWT amplifiers, designing factories and processes for rapid, low-cost manufacturing. You'll work with partner teams to develop novel procedures, manage new product introduction, and collaborate with design teams to improve manufacturability and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
• 1+ years experience designing, building, testing, or troubleshooting hardware
• Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends for deadlines
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirement)

Responsibilities

• Design factory and processes for rapid, reliable, low-cost manufacturing of vacuum technology
• Develop novel manufacturing procedures with partner teams
• Manage new product introduction and production processes for TWTA assemblies
• Work with manufacturers and suppliers to implement process improvements
• Perform environmental and performance testing on hardware
