Description

You will lead the strategy and execution of Activate Global's philanthropic fundraising efforts, managing the philanthropy team and cultivating high-value funding partnerships to support the organization's mission of empowering scientists to become entrepreneurs.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in philanthropy or fundraising with a track record of securing six and seven figure gifts
• Experience building and managing high-performing teams
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships with major donors and foundations
• Experience developing multi-year fundraising strategies
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow philanthropic revenue
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward major philanthropic partners and donor networks
• Own key relationships across institutional and individual funders
• Represent Activate at conferences and donor events
• Oversee relationship management and high-quality stewardship across the philanthropy team
