Description

You will serve as the primary Finance point of contact for Point72's India office, overseeing statutory requirements and partnering with global teams on complex cross-functional initiatives. You'll lead and develop finance talent while representing the firm locally with regulators and auditors.

Requirements

• 10+ years progressive experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations in asset management or financial services
• Experience building/scaling finance operations in India or global capability centers with people management
• Strong leadership, analytical capability, and comfort in fast-moving environments
• Working knowledge of India statutory and compliance requirements including TDS, GST, and transfer pricing
• CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Finance point of contact for India office, reporting to Management Company Controller
• Own India-specific statutory requirements and support corporate accounting, market data, vendor operations, and procurement teams
• Provide senior-level Finance partnership on cross-functional initiatives with Technology, Legal, Regulatory, and Tax teams
• Represent Finance with regulators, auditors, and external service providers in India
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance talent, scaling up staff and optimizing impact with external consultants
