Description

You will design and architect a unified data platform supporting real-time and batch processing, AI initiatives like Knowledge Graph, and ensure sub-second read latency with sub-minute freshness. You'll mentor engineers, author design documents, and automate infrastructure using Helm and Terraform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6-12 years of backend engineering experience with a focus on data platforms and analytics
• Proven expertise in building low-latency, highly concurrent microservices in data platform
• Proficiency in JVM-based languages: Java, Scala, or Kotlin
• Experience with technologies like Kafka, Apache Spark, Iceberg, Trino, StarRocks, Pinot, or Druid

Responsibilities

• Design and architect the unified data platform with real-time and batch processing
• Mentor senior/junior engineers through code and design reviews
• Author high-level and low-level design documents
• Automate infrastructure setup using Helm, Terraform, and similar technologies
• Collaborate with SRE and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production performance issues
