Description

As a Senior Program Manager at 10x Genomics, you will lead cross-functional teams developing new products for biological research. You will partner with technical leaders to manage priorities, risks, resources, and schedules, leveraging advanced AI tools to accelerate program planning and communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, chemistry, biology, or biomedical field.
• 5+ years proven experience in new product or technology development at a Life Sciences company.
• 2+ years as lead program manager with successful track record.
• Experience managing programs spanning early exploratory research and late-stage development.
• Concrete cases of working with diverse stakeholders to build shared plans.
• Demonstrated adoption of advanced AI tools (Claude, Asana AI, or equivalent).
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics across various levels.
• Strong grasp of technical project management techniques for schedules and costs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Program Manager on R&D teams for new product development and introduction, leading cross-functional teams to define scope, schedule, and budget.
• Partner with technical leads to manage program priorities, risks, resources, and schedules.
• Drive day-to-day program work, ensuring problems are rapidly identified and resolved.
• Lead program communications and phase approval reviews.
• Leverage advanced AI tools like Claude, Gemini, Asana AI for program planning and best practices.
• Assess and improve Program Management workflows and communication processes.
