Description

You will design and simulate electro-optical and RF/analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits for SpaceX's Starlink network, enabling global broadband connectivity. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop cutting-edge silicon photonics solutions. Work on chip-level design, validation, and production testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science
• 5+ years of photonics or electro-optical integrated circuit design
• Experience with simulation tools (e.g., Spectre, ADS, HFSS, Lumerical)
• Knowledge of advanced packaging for co-package optics
• Experience with high-speed Serdes (>100Gbps) and modulation schemes (NRZ, PAM4)

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate electro-optical building blocks for silicon photonics solutions
• Design and simulate RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems
• Derive specifications for PIC/EIC subsystems and circuits
• Develop Analog/Mixed-Signal/RF/Microwave circuits in SiGe or CMOS processes
• Perform IC floor planning, layout, and package parasitic modeling
