You will support the platforms that build payroll products on Check's infrastructure, investigating complex payroll issues, collaborating with internal teams, and building trusted relationships with partners. Your work ensures payroll runs smoothly for thousands of businesses and millions of workers.
Requirements
- 4+ years in client or partner-facing role supporting technical products
- 2+ years working at a payroll provider or platform with strong understanding of payroll
- Ability to deconstruct complex payroll scenarios and perform root cause analysis
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Tackle support requests via email-like tickets with speed and precision, meeting SLAs
- Investigate complex payroll and tax problems, tracing root causes through systems
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Tax, and Risk to resolve issues and unblock partners
- Surface recurring partner questions and operational friction points to improve documentation and workflows
- Build trust through empathetic, transparent communication and occasional calls when needed
