Description

You will architect scalable systems for Nubank's crypto department, leading technical design of global features and ensuring robust integration between crypto brokerage and core banking. Your work will directly enable millions of users to engage with digital assets safely, managing complex tradeoffs between system performance and security.

Requirements

• Track record of leading technical architecture in Staff or Lead Engineer capacities
• Demonstrated expertise in system design focusing on scalability and tradeoffs
• Experience in FinTech, Payments, or Core Banking systems
• Experience building and shipping high-throughput, distributed systems
• Strong commitment to learning crypto technologies and blockchain fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable systems for the Crypto department
• Lead technical design of global features balancing performance and security
• Manage assets under custody and brokerage platforms for high availability
• Partner with product teams to iterate on trading experiences for high-engagement crypto profiles
• Mentor and influence engineering teams to uphold technical excellence
