Description

As a Senior Test Pilot at Anduril Industries, you will plan and execute flight tests for large unmanned aerial systems (UAS), working closely with engineering teams to ensure safety and performance. You will also serve as a subject matter expert, author technical documentation, and manage flight test programs. Your expertise will directly contribute to developing cutting-edge defense technologies that enhance military capabilities.

Requirements

• Graduate of U.S. military test pilot school or equivalent
• 5+ years Group 5 UAV pilot experience
• 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command time or 500 hours in unmanned aircraft
• Commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating and FAA Class 2 Medical
• Degree in aerospace engineering or related field with test flight experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Flight Test Engineers and Discipline Engineers to develop safe and effective test procedures
• Participate in ground and flight testing of developmental aircraft to verify compliance with specifications
• Author flight procedures and technical documentation for safe aircraft operation
• Serve as a safety advisor during design and airworthiness reviews
• Support flight test program direction and control room training
