💼 About This Role

You'll lead supply chain operations for Ultragenyx's Japan region, building distribution strategy and managing logistics to support rare disease patients. This role represents global supply chain in regional matters and ensures compliance with local regulations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage order management, transportation, warehousing, and inventory for Japan
• Oversee regional Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)
• Build and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers
• Ensure compliance with regional regulations and quality standards

📋 Requirements

• Fluency in both Japanese and English
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain or technical operations in pharma/biotech
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent
• Project management and pharmaceutical launch experience preferred

• MBA strongly preferred
• Lean/Six Sigma green belt or higher
• Experience with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP
