💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement large-scale, highly available backend microservices for Sky: Children of the Light, serving millions of concurrent players. You'll improve quality through code reviews, testing, and collaboration with distributed teams. You'll strike a balance between speed and quality in a live game environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement large-scale backend microservices
• Monitor system health and respond to failures
• Improve quality through code reviews and testing
• Collaborate with Gameplay, Engine, and Ops teams

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years experience with distributed web services
• Fluency in Erlang/Elixir and Go
• Proficiency with Linux, CI/CD, and GitOps
• Understanding of caching and distributed systems tradeoffs

✨ Nice to Have

• Shareable hobby projects relevant to the role
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
• Experience with UDP and real-time network code
