Description

You will develop laser communication terminals and imaging products for the Starlink satellite constellation. Working with a cross-functional team, you will design and test algorithms for on-orbit and ground-based data processing, own end-to-end product results, and perform system-level modeling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS, CE, or EE with 1+ years DSP engineering experience (or 3+ years without degree)
• 1+ years designing and verifying modems and sensors
• 1+ years developing signal processing algorithms in Python, Matlab, or C/C++
• 1+ years system-level modeling or digital signal processing
• Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Drive program-level decisions on firmware and software designs
• Research novel solutions for large-scale, long-distance free space and fiber optic communication systems
• Design and test algorithms for on-orbit and ground-based data processing
• Develop floating-point and fixed-point models and run simulations to analyze system performance
• Own end-to-end results of products from requirements through verification
