Description

As a Sheet Metal Technician on the Starlink team, you will operate and maintain equipment like laser cutters and press brakes to fabricate complex sheet metal assemblies for new product development and production tooling, working closely with engineers to support the rapidly growing Starlink factory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of professional experience running a waterjet and/or laser cutter.
• Ability to read blueprints and complete basic shop math.
• Experience with press brake operations.
• Ability to hold close tolerances on sheet metal parts per engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment such as laser cutters, press brakes, and water jets.
• Find novel ways to produce complex sheet metal assemblies, occasionally without design definition.
• Read basic blueprints to ensure parts meet engineering specifications.
• Provide customers with clean, deburred, and complete parts.
