You'll own and build core subsystems of a search and retrieval platform at a leading video AI startup. You'll optimize retrieval performance at billion-scale and collaborate with research teams to ship search capabilities end-to-end. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and build core subsystems of the search platform on EKS
• Optimize retrieval performance at million to billion-scale
• Develop and maintain production microservices across the search stack
• Implement and maintain evaluation frameworks for search quality

📋 Requirements

• 6-8 years building production ML systems with search or retrieval
• Strong Python skills
• Hands-on experience with ML model serving and inference optimization
• Experience with information retrieval systems like embedding-based or hybrid search

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with multimodal or video search/retrieval
• Familiarity with temporal indexing or segment-level retrieval
• Experience with hybrid retrieval strategies
