Description

You will enhance the capabilities of AccuWeather's ClimateReady™ Risk Mitigation feature, focusing on scalability and performance. You'll create and champion the Climate Services roadmap, collaborating with various teams to integrate it into B2B platforms. Your role involves researching the competitive landscape, defining pricing strategies, and supporting client meetings as the product expert.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Atmospheric Science, Computer Science, or a similar, relevant field
• Candidates with a proven record of work experience with weather-related products may also be considered
• Expertise in ingesting, manipulating and analyzing weather datasets
• Experience supporting the creation and/or maintenance of products related to weather
• Experience with climate-related products will be a strong differentiator
• Innovative mindset with a desire to work on a variety of projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enjoys engaging in a team environment, including daily stand ups and routine brainstorming

Responsibilities

• Operate as the subject matter expert for climate-related products
• Establish and manage scientific goals through rapid prototyping in a cloud-based environment
• Perform research across the Climate Services competitive landscape
• Create the roadmap of new features and releases for Climate Services
• Work with the Design team on UX/UI best practices for client-facing output
• Define the strategy for integrating Climate Services into AccuWeather's B2B product environment
• Support Sales and Business on defining the pricing strategy for Climate Services
• Join meetings for clients and prospective new customers as the voice of the product team
• Performs other duties as assigned
