Description

As a Flight Test Engineer, you will plan, coordinate, execute, and report on all facets of the test program for the Fury UAS, working with cross-functional teams to solve hard problems and ensure safe, effective testing at private and government test ranges.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as test conductor/director for developmental aircraft, weapons, or missile systems
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent engineering experience
• Test engineering experience with developmental manned/unmanned aircraft systems
• Working knowledge of MIL-STD-882E, MIL-STD-516C, MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, AS5653
• Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform development flight test engineer activities for the Fury UAS: resource planning, conducting ground/flight test, issue investigation, and process improvement
• Collect test data and perform initial data analysis
• Work with Engineering to develop requirements and discuss test results
• Conduct ground and flight test events at private and government-owned test ranges
• Work in a safe manner according to established procedures
