You'll drive new business acquisition in the Washington SLED market for Verkada's integrated physical security platform. Your core impact will be formulating and executing a territory sales strategy to achieve new customer growth. This role offers a fast-paced startup environment with consistent year-over-year growth.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan
- Manage entire sales process from prospecting to close
- Initiate and manage expansion discussions with customers
- Drive business growth through channel partner initiatives
๐ Requirements
- 5-10+ years of quota-carrying software/hardware technology sales
- 2+ years selling to the Public Sector (Local Government, Education)
- Proven track record of closing new logos and landing major accounts
- Experience managing long, complex sales cycles
โจ Nice to Have
- Experience with MEDDIC sales methodology
- Relevant industry experience in security, networking, or SaaS
- Collaboration with channel partner teams
