Description

You will own day-to-day execution of field welding activities for fluid systems and infrastructure projects at Massey's test site, directing contractors, planning work, and ensuring high-quality, safe installations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years professional experience in construction or aerospace industries leading or coordinating labor force
• 3+ years hands-on experience with a construction trade skill
• Ability to work multiple shifts and change shifts with minimal notice
• Ability to travel up to 20% and perform physical duties including standing, kneeling, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of welding projects on site
• Lead site logistics, scheduling, quality control, and resource allocation for welding
• Manage contractor supervision, conflict resolution, and schedule management
• Develop cost estimates, solicit bids, award contracts, and manage budget for weld packages
• Plan and sequence welding work to align with project schedule and operational constraints
