You'll lead data protection compliance for Octopus Electric Vehicles, ensuring full adherence to UK GDPR. You'll shape strategy, manage risks, and foster a privacy-aware culture across the business. This is a unique opportunity to drive impact in the electric vehicle industry.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Maintain data protection strategy and compliance framework.
• Lead Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and update RoPA.
• Manage end-to-end Data Subject Access Requests (SARs).
• Handle data breach response and ICO communication.

📋 Requirements

• UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 expertise.
• Practical experience with DPIAs, RoPA, and SARs.
• Ability to explain data protection concepts clearly.
• 3-5 years in a data protection role.

• Knowledge of ISO27001 compliance.
• Experience in financial services or FCA regulated environment.
