💼 About This Role

You'll run the end-to-end lifecycle of DevRel events and build Deepgram's in-person presence in the Bay Area. Your core impact is converting event attendees into active developers through hands-on workshops and community programs. This role stands out because you'll scale the playbook for a leading voice AI platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own full lifecycle of DevRel events from planning to post-event follow-up.
• Establish regular in-person programming in the Bay Area for voice AI builders.
• Design hands-on workshop formats that get developers to a first API call.
• Manage community health across Discord, GitHub, Reddit, and social platforms.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in developer relations, community management, or similar role.
• Experience running in-person developer events (meetups, hackathons, workshops).
• Proficiency with APIs and developer tools (e.g., REST, SDKs, CLI).
• Proven ability to track event-to-activation conversion metrics.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with voice AI or speech technology.
• Familiarity with Champions programs or community ambassador initiatives.
• Knowledge of Discord, GitHub, and social media community management.
