Description

You will maintain and manage communication infrastructure, including data servers, networking hardware, IP devices, and IT systems at SpaceX's Rocket Development Facility in McGregor, TX. Your work will involve building and supporting network systems for voice, video, and data, administering video recording and streaming systems, and ensuring reliable communications for rocket testing operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certification
• 2+ years of manual electronic tasks including soldering, wiring, splicing, and fiber optic fusion splicing
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting IP devices on a network
• Ability to work at elevated heights up to 300 ft with PPE
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage communication infrastructure to data servers, networking hardware, IP devices, and IT systems
• Lead architecture and build out of SpaceX infrastructure for HD-quality video
• Develop and maintain high-performance video streaming infrastructure
• Administer network video recording system and configure codec settings for live streaming
• Build and support network systems (voice, video, data) including switches, routers, and physical layer
