๐ผ About This Role
You'll build the operating cadence and own everything outside engineering, GTM, and design at a fast-growing Series A startup scaling from $1M to 8-figure ARR. You'll personally run payroll, negotiate leases, and fix internal tools, then grow into a COO-track role with a team. This is a hands-on position partnering directly with the CEO.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Build weekly leadership rituals and monthly board prep
- Run end-to-end people ops across US and EU entities
- Manage customer contracts, vendor agreements, and NDAs
- Own vendor sprawl, SaaS procurement, and cost optimization
๐ Requirements
- 6+ years in operations with 2-3 years at a Series A/B startup that scaled from 30 to 100
- Generalist DNA comfortable owning finance, legal, and HR on alternating weeks
- Strong with numbers: can read a P&L and model headcount and burn
- Built or rebuilt at least two of payroll, offers/equity, contracts, close cycle, or board reporting

- Prior chief-of-staff role at a venture-backed B2B startup
- Experience operating across US and EU entities including GDPR and contractor models
- Background in B2B SaaS finance with usage-based revenue
