Description

You will lead Nextdoor's revenue accounting function, owning the full revenue close process and reporting directly to senior management and the CFO. This role involves managing advertising and partnership revenue, driving automation and process improvements, and partnering cross-functionally to support new revenue streams while maintaining strong controls under ASC 606.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue accounting policies under ASC 606
• Lead monthly revenue close process including journal entries and analysis
• Analyze billing/revenue activity to identify discrepancies and operational risks
• Serve as Accounting lead on cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, and Business Systems
• Design scalable reconciliation processes and improve financial accuracy
