Description

You will own the architecture and implementation of critical FPGA systems for the largest and highest-power satellites ever flown, including fault tolerance, real-time control, and high-speed data routing. You will write mission-critical code for propulsion, attitude control, RF, and power systems, and verify your designs through simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, CE, EE, math, or STEM; or 3+ years professional software experience
• 3+ years with complex FPGA designs in digital, mixed signal, or RF applications
• Development experience with VHDL or SystemVerilog
• Experience integrating logic onto Xilinx SoC platforms (nice-to-have)
• Experience with DSP fundamentals and high-speed SERDES interfaces (Ethernet, PCIe, JESD204C) (nice-to-have)

Responsibilities

• Own FPGA architecture and implementation for spacecraft networking, RF, and real-time control
• Implement RTL in VHDL and SystemVerilog
• Verify and validate FPGA designs with simulation, bench-testing, and hardware-in-the-loop
• Support integration, test, and troubleshooting of FPGA designs across spacecraft development
• Develop tools and infrastructure for rapid, high-reliability FPGA solutions
