You'll own customer issues for Aiven's open-source data platform, troubleshooting PostgreSQL, Kafka, and MySQL across AWS, GCP, and Azure. Your work directly impacts developer productivity by resolving complex technical challenges with clarity and empathy. You'll also contribute to automation and knowledge bases using Python and AI tools.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of customer issues through to resolution.
  • Troubleshoot open-source technologies including PostgreSQL, Kafka, and OpenSearch.
  • Diagnose issues via ticketing system and AI-assisted tools.
  • Contribute to internal and external knowledge bases.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 1+ years in technical support or systems engineering.
  • Linux and networking knowledge at basic level.
  • Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot.
  • Experience with at least one public cloud: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or OpenSearch.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Previous use of Slack, Jira, Zendesk, or GitHub.
