💼 About This Role

You'll own subsystems end-to-end for Pano's wildfire detection hardware, from component selection through production. Your work directly impacts the reliability of systems deployed in extreme remote environments to protect communities from wildfire.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Select and evaluate off-the-shelf hardware modules against performance and reliability requirements
• Author and execute test plans for NPI gate reviews
• Execute stress and margin tests to find edges of reliable operation
• Lead hardware triage from first symptom to verified fix
• Define acceptance criteria and transfer test scripts to contract manufacturers

📋 Requirements

• System integration experience with off-the-shelf hardware modules
• Test plan authoring and execution for hardware validation
• Hands-on debug with lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
• Experience in production readiness and sustaining engineering

• Experience with cellular radios or camera systems
• Knowledge of FCC or safety compliance testing
• Background in environmental or reliability testing
