Description

As a Lead System Administrator at Braze, you will serve as the technical escalation point for the Service Desk, ensuring the reliability, security, and operational excellence of IT services. You will lead incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement automation to improve system efficiency while mentoring team members.

Requirements

  • Hands-on problem solver with ownership mindset
  • Experience supporting SaaS platforms: Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Iru
  • Proficient in scripting with Bash, Python, or Ruby
  • Strong networking fundamentals (OSI model)
  • Experience with Jira, Git, and GAM

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary escalation point for Service Desk
  • Own maintenance, configuration, and availability of core IT services
  • Act as Incident Manager during service outages and security incidents
  • Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions
  • Design and maintain custom scripts for system efficiency
