Description

You will develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions for SpaceX's vehicle programs, designing and prototyping sensor systems to solve manufacturing quality problems. You'll interface with engineering teams, manage projects, and drive automation initiatives to ensure flight reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or computer science
• 6+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience
• NAS-410 Level III in Radiography certificate
• Experience with Digital Radiography and automated solutions
• Knowledge of NDE techniques (ultrasonic, eddy current, radiography)

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation (NDE) inspection solutions
• Design, prototype, and implement nondestructive sensor systems for manufacturing quality
• Interface with vehicle engineering to align on inspection requirements and capabilities
• Support NDE automation initiatives and defect reduction projects
• Define integration test plans and drive cross-functional design discussions
