You'll build and own AeroVect's documentation practice from the ground up, creating authoritative guides for assembly, field servicing, and operator use. Your work will support autonomous tractor platforms used by airlines and ground handling partners. This is a unique opportunity to shape a documentation function in a fast-paced robotics startup.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Create assembly and build documentation for autonomous tractor platform
- Develop field servicing and maintenance documentation for deployment engineers
- Write operator-facing user manuals and quick-reference cards
- Build and manage documentation system with version control practices
- Create visual aids like annotated diagrams and exploded views
๐ Requirements
- 3+ years of technical writing experience in hardware-centric industry
- Ability to produce assembly or maintenance documentation for complex electromechanical systems
- Strong ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring schematics
- Experience creating documentation for multiple audiences from engineers to end users
โจ Nice to Have
- Experience with autonomous vehicles or mobile robots
- Familiarity with structured authoring and single-sourcing
- Exposure to regulatory documentation in safety-critical industries
