💼 About This Role

You'll lead North American tax compliance and process scaling for a hyper-growth travel fintech. Your core impact will be building scalable compliance from the ground up. This role offers hands-on collaboration with engineering on tax logic automation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end indirect tax compliance for North America
• Prepare and review federal, state, and provincial tax returns
• Collaborate with engineering on tax logic implementation
• Monitor legislative changes and assess business impact

📋 Requirements

• 4-7+ years of state and local tax experience in digital marketplace
• Proven experience in Canadian indirect tax (GST/HST/QST) and provincial income tax
• Strong knowledge of ASC 450 and functional knowledge of ASC 740
• Hands-on experience with Avalara and NetSuite

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL or Google BigQuery
• CPA or tax master's degree
• Experience in hospitality or travel tax
