💼 About This Role

You'll own employee relations casework for Nuro's frontline workforce, conducting investigations and driving fair outcomes. You'll partner with Employment Legal and HRBPs to manage complex ER matters and coach managers through difficult employee situations. This role offers a chance to build scalable ER processes in a fast-growing autonomous vehicle company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own employee relations intake, triage, and investigations for Operations workforce
• Lead investigations end-to-end including interviews, documentation, and findings
• Partner with managers on corrective action, discipline, and separation planning
• Support high-volume ER matters like attendance, policy violations, and conflict
• Track case data and identify trends for training and process improvement

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in employee relations, investigations, or HRBP roles
• Strong investigation skills covering interviewing, fact assessment, and documentation
• Experience supporting hourly or shift-based workforces in operations environments
• Knowledge of California employment law for high-volume ER practices

✨ Nice to Have

• AWI-CH certification or equivalent investigation training
• Experience with multi-site or 24/7 operations
• J.D. or employment law background
