You'll support data engineering efforts on the IRS EDOS program, focusing on automation and repeatable data processing workflows. You'll build automated data validation routines, ETL test harnesses, and monitoring scripts to ensure pipeline reliability and data integrity. This role offers the chance to modernize legacy IRS tax processing systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build automated data validation routines and ETL test harnesses
• Develop monitoring scripts for pipeline reliability and data integrity
• Implement ingestion and transformation components with cloud services
• Resolve pipeline defects through automated checks and collaboration

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT, Engineering or related with 2 years experience
• US Citizenship required
• Active IRS MBI Clearance and current GFE
• Experience with Python, SQL, ETL/ELT, Airflow, AWS/Azure
