You will lead baseline modernization, provide architectural guidance, and mentor engineers on a small team developing signal processing applications for real-time operational defense environments. Collaborate with operational stakeholders to meet evolving mission needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM
• Minimum 10 years software engineering experience
• Demonstrated experience as a Software Architect
• Strong Java or C++ development experience
• Experience with cloud environments and Kubernetes, message brokers (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka), enterprise integration patterns, SysML/Cameo, and SAFe Agile

Responsibilities

• Lead baseline modernization efforts
• Provide technical direction and architectural design to Agile teams
• Mentor senior and junior engineers
• Generate software cost and schedule estimates using parametric analysis
• Collaborate cross-functionally on systems engineering, development, integration, and testing
