Description

You will develop and implement sourcing strategies for capital purchases and production consumables for the Starlink program, working with internal stakeholders and suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or supply chain management (or 9+ years without degree)
• Experience with capital expenditure purchasing preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% of work week, including international travel
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends to meet critical deadlines

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for capital purchases and production consumables
• Identify opportunities for cost, space, and process optimization through technical understanding of production equipment
• Negotiate with suppliers to maximize value, cost savings, and delivery priority
• Build and own project budgets, compile funding requests, and generate capitalization plans
• Track spend, assess budgetary risk, and provide analysis to enable management decision making
