💼 About This Role

You'll work on the Hardware Platform team at Anduril, developing composite tooling designs for defense prototypes. You will wrangle requirements and deliver scrappy reliable tool designs under tight timelines. This role combines hands-on engineering with cross-functional collaboration to get products into the field.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Wrangle requirements from teammates and internal customers to inform tool design
• Develop scrappy reliable tool designs under tight timelines
• Work with manufacturing shops to procure tools
• Ensure tooling meets requirements and is commissioned successfully

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in mechanical/materials engineering or 7+ years professional experience
• 3+ years professional experience in mechanical/composite part or tool design
• Basic understanding of manufacturing methods including machining, welding, injection molding
• Proficient in CAD to create 3D models and drawings

✨ Nice to Have

• Siemens NX surfacing and large assembly experience
• Experience with Teamcenter PLM
• Hands-on experience with composite layup or CNC machining
