Description

In this role, you will support research and pilot-scale operations at Redwood Materials, a company localizing the global battery supply chain. You will execute laboratory and manufacturing experiments to develop new equipment, process flowsheets, and sustainable products, while building and maintaining lab and pilot equipment, preparing solutions, and conducting wet-chemistry and mechanical analyses.

Requirements

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience building complex mechanical systems
• Laboratory experience in wet-chemistry and bench top experiments
• Ability to follow established procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pilot and lab equipment
• Prepare solutions and conduct wet-chemistry bench experiments
• Perform chemical analyses, optical measurements, and mechanical tests
• Run and monitor experiments in high volume manufacturing and fast-paced environments
• Support development and validation of new metrology systems
