💼 About This Role

You'll own the frontend of Orion, a real-time geospatial UI for base defense and fleet management built on top of Legion. Your work will directly impact national security missions in active operations worldwide. This role offers high autonomy to shape architecture and product direction in a fast-moving startup environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and build the Orion frontend using React and TypeScript
• Set technical direction, coding standards, and best practices
• Design real-time geospatial interfaces with sub-second latency
• Mentor engineers and help build the team around Orion

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years building production front-end with React and TypeScript
• Demonstrated ability to own complex features end-to-end in production
• Solid intuition for UX/UI design
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving toward concrete solutions

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time, data-heavy, or geospatial applications
• Familiarity with Deck.gl, Mapbox, or MapLibre
• Full-stack or generalist experience
