💼 About This Role

You'll shape customer needs into air vehicle and subsystem software requirements for a Group 5 autonomous aircraft program. You will develop system engineering artifacts and manage risks to support airworthiness certification. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge defense technology with significant impact on national security.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Shape customer needs into air vehicle and subsystem software requirements.
• Develop System Engineering artifacts including system model for digital thread.
• Incorporate input from safety, software, and other disciplines into architecture.
• Communicate and manage program risks with Chief Engineer and Program Management.

📋 Requirements

• B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or similar engineering field
• 12+ years Engineering Experience across UAS lifecycle with focus on aircraft systems
• Experience with standards: MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-882E, ARP-4761, etc.
• Must hold an active U.S. Secret security clearance

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Cameo MagicDraw or similar systems engineering software
• Experience with Digital Engineering workflows and Integrated Modeling Environments
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
