💼 About This Role

You'll own the execution of Darkroom's search strategy across traditional SEO and AI search for the agency's own website and blog. You'll drive organic growth through on-page optimization, technical audits, and content strategy. You'll also leverage AI tools to scale workflows and shape the brand's presence in AI overviews and answer engines.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute on-page SEO including metadata, structured data, and content updates
• Conduct keyword research and map search intent to content opportunities
• Architect topic clusters and pillar pages for compounding authority
• Run regular technical audits for crawlability, site speed, and schema markup

📋 Requirements

• 1-3 years of SEO experience (agency, in-house, or freelance)
• Working knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, and one SEO tool (Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar)
• Strong written English for briefing writers and editing content
• Proactive organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Framer or similar CMS from an SEO perspective
• Familiarity with ecommerce or DTC space
• Expertise using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity daily
