💼 About This Role

You'll join the NBA 2K team to build high-performance backend services powering one of the world's most popular sports game franchises. You'll take ownership of distributed systems, large-scale computing, and efficient databases to deliver world-class online experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while impacting millions of concurrent players.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and optimize distributed systems for scalability and fault tolerance
• Build and maintain large-scale computing solutions handling millions of concurrent players
• Develop efficient database structures for high-volume real-time transactions
• Deliver low-latency, high-performance backend services

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development with backend and server-side focus
• Strong proficiency in C++ with solid OOP understanding
• Proficiency in Python or another scripting language (Python preferred)
• Proven experience with multithreaded programming in large-scale real-time environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience developing secure transaction systems for virtual currency and accounts
• Skilled in database optimization including connection management and query tuning
• Familiarity with online gaming architectures for live connected player experiences
