💼 About This Role

You'll own the operational layer of Astra's payment processing engine, including reconciliation, monitoring, and dispute workflows. You'll build processes and tooling to ensure settlement closes and edge cases are caught before they become incidents. This is a builder role reporting to the CEO, defining how Astra operates at 10x current volume.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end reconciliation across all payment rails
• Build and maintain daily settlement processes to catch breaks early
• Design monitoring and alerting for transaction health by rail
• Manage full dispute lifecycle across card and ACH networks

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in payment operations at a payments infrastructure company
• Deep fluency in multi-rail money movement (ACH, RTP/FedNow, card push)
• Hands-on reconciliation experience with data querying
• Proven dispute and chargeback management background

• Experience at a payment facilitator or processor
• Experience building operational dashboards in Datadog or Metabase
• Familiarity with stablecoin or blockchain-based settlement flows
