๐ผ About This Role
You'll design and ship agentic AI systems for federal and commercial clients, building real production applications powered by large language models. You'll own agent design, tool use, RAG pipelines, and evals - making sure what you ship is fast, reliable, and safe. This is a hands-on engineering role, not research, with a strong voice in responsible AI adoption.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Design and build multi-step agentic systems with human-in-the-loop checkpoints
- Build MCP servers to securely expose client data and APIs to LLMs
- Ship LLM-powered copilots, document intelligence, and search features
- Deploy and monitor RAG pipelines and production AI backends
๐ Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 1+ year shipping LLM-based or AI features to production
- Hands-on experience designing agentic systems (tool calling, multi-step reasoning)
- Strong Python and backend API development (FastAPI, Flask)
โจ Nice to Have
- Experience authoring MCP servers for databases or internal APIs
- Eval and observability platforms experience (Braintrust, LangSmith)
- Multi-agent orchestration patterns
